Adrian Villados grateful to be under Sherwin Meneses

Adrian Villados is peaking at the right time for Arellano University in the 2022 V-League Men’s Collegiate Challenge.

Villados showed up on both ends in the Chiefs’ 25-22, 25-21, 25-20 victory over Adamson University on Saturday, delivering 12 excellent sets to go along with three rejections for five points.

Arellano head coach Sherwin Meneses said that Villados will play an important role for the Chiefs in the upcoming NCAA Season 98 men’s volleyball tournament which is why he is elated to see the third year playmaker step up and contribute in the team’s on-going V-League campaign.

For his part, Villados said that he just stuck with Meneses’ instructions. Moreover, he said that playing for the decorated mentor, who also played the same role back in his playing days, helped a lot in his improvement.

Come the quarterfinals, Villados will try to pick up where he left off and steer Arellano to the semifinals.
