Mycah Go still not satisfied after CSB clinches top seed

After clinching the top seed in Pool B, Mycah Go and College of St. Benilde are out for more.

Go steered the Lady Blazers to a quick, straight sets victory over UAAP team University of the Philippines, 25-13, 25-21, 25-10, in the 2022 V-League Women’s Collegiate Challenge last Friday at the Paco Arena.

The win helped Benilde take the number one seed in Group B, which consists of San Beda University, University of Sto. Tomas, and UP.

Go, the reigning NCAA Most Valuable Player, said that the Lady Blazers are wary of the tough competition that lies ahead and insisted that they will not stop until they reach their goal for this tournament.

“Kumpyansa. Nanalo kami, kailangan namin yun para sa ibang liga namin,” said Go, who finished with nine points, nine excellent receptions, and eight excellent digs in the win.

“Lagi naman naming sinasabi sa sarili namin na 'wag kaming mag-settle, kasi hindi pa tapos yung liga so as long as hindi pa tapos yung liga marami pang pwedeng mangyari so laro lang."

Benilde takes on San Sebastian College-Recoletos in the quarterfinals.
