Dux Yambao looks to develop chemistry with UST in V-League

Rookie setter Dux Yambao continued his fine play for University of Sto. Tomas last Sunday.

Yambao steered the Tiger Spikers to a straight sets win over College of St. Benilde to officially claim the second seed in Pool A of the 2022 V-League Men’s Collegiate Challenge at the Paco Arena.

He finished with a game-high 16 excellent sets to go along with two points in the win.

Yambao, who was recruited by the school from Davao, shared that the V-League Collegiate Challenge is his first-ever tournament here in Manila.

Moreover, he said that he will use this opportunity to form a bond with his new teammates as they gear up for the upcoming UAAP season.

Aside from that, Yambao said that he is also looking to work on his consistency here in the V-League as well as his connection with his open spikers.

Yung pagiging calm din kasi minsan nagmamadali, nawawala sa sistema,” he said.

UST will take on Far Eastern University in the quarterfinals on November 16, Wednesday.
